Hiroshi Yamazaki was born in 1946 in Japan. Rather than rendering traditional scenic beauty, the artist has focused on the the theme and role light plays in photography. Hiroshi Yamazaki is an award-winning photographer who has made 16mm movies, worked freelance for many years, and taught in Tokyo. The Sun is Longing for the Sea is from a series of time exposed photographs of the sun over the sea.
