Ormond Gigli's Sardinia, Italy, 1969, is a limited edition archival pigment print mounted on an archival board. The 22.5" x 20" print in an edition of 8 is signed recto (front of photo).
The photograph was taken in the summer of 1969 for TIME magazine. High-fashion model Samantha Jones stands confidently on a boat, against the backdrop of the bright blue sky of Southern Italy. Dressed in haute-couture clothing and wearing contemporary accessories, the model gently turns her face towards the camera.
