Chance Encounter, 2017 is a 12.5" x 10.25" monotype, hand-pulled on an etching press by the artist. Dated, titled, and signed recto (on print front).

The viscosity inked monotype is a homage to Puccini's Madame Butterfly.

Artist’s Bio:

New York City multidisciplinary artist a.muse’s printmaking, collages, drawings, and paintings on paper and canvas tap into concepts of serendipity, happenstance, and lucid dreams.

For the works on paper, a.muse employs acrylic, watercolor, oil sticks, sand, and organic matter. The abstract paintings on canvas integrate bright colors, found objects, patterns, shapes, and symbols.
