During the filming of The Misfits, an American drama film written by playwright Arthur Miller, photographer Ernst Haas turned his camera on Marilyn Monroe to capture the star of the production without artifice, for a reportage on the set, shot in natural lighting, that ultimately reveals Marilyn Monroe as both a beautiful woman and complex personality.
